Arsenal have made another attempt to get Alexis Sanchez to stay at the club by offering a huge new contract.
The Daily Mail claim that the Gunners have offered Sanchez a wage structure busting £300,000-a-week deal to keep him at the Emirates for the long term.
Sanchez has already rejected a deal that could have seen him earn up to £275,000-a-week, but he has rejected that offer as he tries to force his way out of the Emirates.
The Chilean has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, where he would reunite with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his star player is not for sale, and is even willing to lose him for nothing next season if they can not tempt Sanchez to sign a new deal.
Wenger is currently preparing his squad for Friday’s Premier League opener at the Emirates against Leicester City. Check out Football Faithful’s Match Preview, including Team News, Predicted Lineups and Match Prediction.
