Arsenal are set to improve their offer for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette according to Sky Sports.
The Gunners have already seen a £30million bid for the French striker rejected by the Ligue 1 club, who are planning to keep the striker beyond the summer.
Lyon value the 25-year old in excess of £40million, despite club president Jean-Michel Aulas being reluctant to negotiate over the strikers departure.
Despite this, Arsene Wenger plans on improving his initial bid in order to improve his attacking options this season, where as it stands, he will start with just one recognised striker, the much criticised Olivier Giroud.
Wenger is still hoping to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, as well as a new centre back, with Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi and West Brom’s Jonny Evans being linked with making a move to the Emirates Stadium.
