Arsenal to cash in as defender agrees Inter Milan switch

Arsenal will cash in on central defender Shkodran Mustafi, providing that they receive an offer of £35m.

The German defender only moved to the Emirates 12 months ago from Valencia, but according to the Daily Mail, he would be allowed to leave the club, providing they recoup all of their initial transfer outlay.

Furthermore, reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the 25-year-old has agreed a deal with Inter Milan and has informed Arsene Wenger of his desire to move to the San Siro.

However, it is claimed that Inter are interested in a loan move for the defender, where as the Gunners will only sanction a permanent transfer.

Mustafi made a promising start to life in the Premier League las season, but a series of injuries restricted his game time and affected his form. He started last weeks game against Stoke City, a game in which the Gunners slipped to a 1-0 defeat.

Juventus are also believed to be interested.
