Arsenal have seen an £17.6m bid for Juan Cuadrado rejected.
The Columbian was a big money signing for Chelsea back in 2014, but was shipped out on loan to Juventus just six months later after a disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge. He since made the move to Turin permanent but has been linked with a move away once again.
Arsenal are interested in signing the 29-year-old but apparently face competition from their North London rivals Tottenham, who can offer Champions League football next season.
The Sun claim that Arsenal have lodged a £17.6m bid for the winger, but that has been rejected by the Italian champions. Juventus are believed to be willing to sell Cuadrado, but want closer to £30m.
Massimiliano Allegri wants to free up some funds to further strengthen his squad, with Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi both on the Italian’s radar.
Arsenal are resigned to losing Alexis Sanchez this summer with Bayern Munich and Manchester City both interested, and Cuadrado is potential replacement for Chilean.
