Arsenal given the green light to sign proven French striker

Arsenal and Arsene Wenger have been given the go-ahead to dip their toes into the market once more, this time for proven French striker, Alexandre Lacazette. The Lyon forward has confirmed that it has always been his dream to play abroad, with the 23-year old looking to move as early as this transfer window.

“Between England and Spain, I don’t have a preference,” he said.

Lacazette has been at Lyon since 2003, since the age of 11. He has progressed through their youth ranks and played an impressive 171 competitive games for the Ligue One side, scoring 58 goals in that time. He also has four France caps to his name.

Liverpool are also believed to be monitoring his situation.

Would Lacazette be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
