AC Milan are planning to splash the cash once again in a bid to take them back to the glory days.
The Italian Giants are debt free once again, following their £628million takeover by Chinese Investors, and are looking to return to the top of European football once again, starting with the signing of a reigning European Champion
According to reports, AC Milan boss Vicenzo Montella will make a summer move for Real Madrid ace Isco as they look to get back on course towards the Champions League.
The Spaniard is on the periphery of the first team at the Bernabeu, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio all competing for a handful of places with the Spanish club.
Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Asensio will not be sold this summer following an impressive spell at Espanyol last season, leaving Isco’s path to the starting XI even more challenging, and available for sale if an appropriate offer comes Madrids way.
AC Milan’s finished in seventh place in Serie A last season, well outside of the qualification places for the Champions League, a trophy they have won five times in their prestigious history.
