Chelsea rejected a staggering £57million move from China for Brazilian midfielder, Oscar, according to reports in The Sun today.
Chinese club, Jiangsu Suning have already signed Chelsea midfielder Ramires, and today confirmed the transfer of Shakhtar Donetsk forward and former Liverpool target, Alex Teixeira. However the mega rich Chinese club apparently made a January move for the 24-year old Attacking Midfielder.
Jiangsu Suning are expected to return for Oscar’s signature at the end of the season, when they will also try to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, as we told you a few days ago. (You can read our Yaya Toure article here)
The world was shocked when news broke of Ramires’ departure to the Chinese Super League, but with the signings of Fredy Guarin, Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira, it is clear that the lure of the Far East isn’t going to go away any time soon.
